Mara Powers

Mara joined the Firm in September 2021 as a Paralegal. As of January 2024, she is now a Law Clerk under Washington Supreme Court’s Admission and Practice Rule (APR) 6. Mara has a B.A. from Western Washington University (2020) and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Rasmussen University (2021). Mara assists our attorneys in litigation matters, estate planning & probate, and fulfilling public records requests.

In December 2023, Mara was accepted to Washington Supreme Court’s APR 6 Law Clerk Program which is an alternative to law school. Managing Partner Emily Guildner will be mentoring Mara for four years after which, she can sit for the Bar Exam and become a licensed attorney. During the Program, Mara will continue her work for the Firm while studying the various areas of law and preparing for the Bar Exam.
